I have used Lynda.com to start learning Solidworks

Basic Modelling order

1. Create new sketch
2. Select Plane
3. Draw Sketch
4. Smart Dimension
5. Exit Sketch
6. Create Features from sketch

• Coincident – Same point
• Concentric – Same centre
• Collinear – Share same line

Setting Document Tolerances

Tools > Options > Document Properties > Dimensions > Primary Precision (Half way down)
